Seniors vs. Crime has several programs to serve Florida seniors.

Eyes and Ears Program

 

Seniors, who are willing to assist the Attorney General in consumer related issues or other law enforcement agencies in combating scams and crimes against the elderly, are enlisted as Senior Sleuth volunteers.

 

Office Program

 

A Office is an office, staffed by Senior Sleuth volunteers, where any senior who feels that he or she has been victimized or otherwise taken advantage of can come and speak to a peer.

 

Shopping Buddy Program

 

The Shopping Buddy Program provides a senior consultant to assist with major purchases a client is about to undertake.

 

Education Program

 

We have several outreach efforts:

        Florida Seniors Against Investment Fraud (FSAIF)

 

Seniors will learn how to avoid becoming the victims of financial fraud. Click on above link to learn more.

Seniors will learn how to read medical billings that they receive; identify questionable charges/ procedures and learn who to contact about their suspicions.   Click on above link to learn more.
